Community Alliances and Events

  • For more than 30 years, we have partnered with Hillsborough County Public Schools, the eighth largest and one of the most diverse school districts in the country, to provide drug and violence prevention education to over 120,000 students each year in sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth grades.
  • Partner with City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department, providing drug prevention education programming and activities for children throughout the summer.
  • Presenter of the annual Too Good for Drugs Walk and Kidfest, a community event celebrating Red Ribbon Week held in Tampa, Florida each fall with an annual attendance of more than 6,000 children and parents, a number that continues to grow each year. This event brings prevention providers, child welfare and other community organizations together to show support for drug prevention and community building activities.
  • Sponsor of the annual Too Good for Drugs Jr.Gasparilla Distance Classic kids' run held in Tampa, Florida each spring.
  • Partner with Parent Teacher Student Association and Students Against Drunk Driving to provide presentations to high school students.
  • Licensed Prevention Provider by the Florida Department of Children and Families.
  • Member of the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network.
  • Member of the Hillsborough County Anti-Drug Alliance community coalition.
